Ayah By Ayah: Tafseer and Memorization Program
Sohba Saliha and Roswell Community Masjid are excited to launch a new weekly Qur’an class starting May 3rd, 2025. Designed for sisters 18+, this two-part Saturday morning program focuses on both understanding and memorizing the Qur’an in a supportive, structured environment.
🕰️ Time: Saturday mornings (10 AM – 12 PM)
📍 Location: Roswell Community Masjid – Youth Room
👩🏫 Instructors: Tafseer with Fatima Nino | Memorization with Fatima Farooqi
✨ Surah for May: Surah Al-Hujuraat ✨

10 AM- 11 AM: Tafseer of selected surahs
11 AM - 12 PM: Memorization of the portion covered in Tafseer
(Prerequisite for Memorization: Students must be able to read the Quran fluently and apply the basic rules of Tajweed.)

Tafseer only: $60/month
Memorization only: $60/month

Childcare:
To support our students with young children, we are offering childcare during the Qur’an classes for a small fee of $5 per class. Childcare is available for children ages 3 and up. Space is limited to 6 children per session, and spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Sohba, we believe cost should never be a barrier to seeking knowledge — partial and full scholarships are available upon request. Donations to help cover scholarships are always welcome and tax-deductible.
Sort and Serve: Closet Sort for Foster Families
Join us for a special volunteering opportunity with Foster Care Support Foundation! We'll be helping organize and sort clothing for foster families in need.

Forty Hadith Al-Nawawi (April 30)
Join us for an enlightening discussion on Imam al-Nawawi's 40 Hadith, exploring timeless teachings that offer a comprehensive understanding of Islam and guide us in faith, character, and community! This class is taught every Wednesday by Sr. Masa Qassab who’s studied and holds an ijazah with a sanad in the 40 ahadith.
